Time Change

The time change has messed up my internal clock even more than usual. I have been ready for bed by 9:00 the last two nights and have been waking up in the very early hours of the morning. This morning I woke up at 3:00 and tried hard until 4:45 to go back to sleep before I just decided to go ahead and get up. I went downstairs clicked on the T.V. and picked up my knitting thinking I would at least have some quiet time to myself. Before 5:00 I heard someone else coming down the stairs and soon saw the head of my 8 year old daughter peek over the railing. She couldn't sleep either. I have to admit that at first I was a little annoyed at this interuption to my quiet time, but by 5:30 we were sitting quietly together eating eggs and toast.
We got a chance to talk about school and friends and even to talk about the Christmas baking we will be doing before too long. It was so nice to have this special time with her and I am so thankful for it.

Sounds like a great morning. I too am having a difficult time still with the time change. My 3 year old is off as well. What is it like having 2 kids? I want another and am a full-time pastor. Looking for encouragement from fellow travelers =)
